Your role in our team

As part of our growing Integrated Lifecycle Support (ILS) team, a group focused on ensuring long-term support and sustainability, you will contribute to ensuring that [xxxxx]’s systems are supported throughout their full lifecycle, design, delivery, and maintenance.

You will work closely with colleagues from Support & Services, Product Development, and project teams across [xxxxx]—both locally and globally.

About Integrated Lifecycle Support

Integrated Lifecycle Support (aka Integrated Logistics Support and Integrated Product Support) is a management approach introduced primarily within the Aerospace and Defense industry that ensures all aspects of product support are considered throughout the lifecycle of a system, including design, development, deployment, and maintenance. Its goal is to optimize logistics resources, reduce costs, and improve system availability by coordinating activities such as maintenance planning, supply support, training etc. Ultimately, ILS helps ensure that a system operates effectively and efficiently over its intended lifespan.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

Your key responsibilities as an ILS Specialist include:

• Deliver ILS data and documentation for global customer projects and systems already in service
• Extract, structure, and analyze product data to support maintainability and long-term performance
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and occasionally with external stakeholders
• Help develop and standardize ILS services, processes, and tools
• Contribute to improving documentation formats and lifecycle support strategies
• Preparing documentation that supports system maintenance and upgrades

We are looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications:

• Data Analytics Skills: proficiency in Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting. Basic knowledge of SQL is advantageous but not mandatory
• Work Approach: structured, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality outputs
• Communication skills: ability to communicate complex technical data clearly in English – both written and verbal. In this role you will produce customer deliverables like reports and product documentation in an international setup that requires a global mindset.

In addition, it is an advantage if you have experience in the following areas:

• Lifecycle Management: Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes, practices and tools
• Asset Management: Experience with Asset Management
• RAMS: Knowledge of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Supportability Analysis and Life Cycle Cost Analysis
• Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Mean Time Before Failure (MTBF) calculations, Obsolescence and Maintenance plans, Failure Mode, Effect and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
• Integrated Logistics Support Principles: understanding of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and In-Service Support (ISS) principles. Knowledge of S-series standards (S1000D, S2000M, S3000L) and military standards MIL-STD would be an advantage
• Working with data from and data structures in ERP systems. [xxxxx] is using IFS.
