We are facing an exciting future with considerable growth and demanding changes, as we deliver advanced technologies and mission critical solutions for the defense and aerospace industry. Our systems provide security for people on land, at sea and in the air. Therefore, we are looking for a HSE Manager to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.
Your role in our team
As our new HSE Manager you will be responsible for various projects, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a manner so that people and the environment are protected. This includes implementing health, safety, and environmental policies, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with legal and client requirements throughout the project life cycle.
The HSE department consists of 6 people distributed between Lystrup and Grenaa and includes both junior and senior profiles. In the team we have an informal tone, and are organized between two areas, Health & Safety and Environment. At the moment, some of our main focuses are on ISO certifications, CSRD and support for major projects.

How you will make a meaningful contribution
Your key responsibilities include:
- Identify potential hazards and environmental impacts. Ensure proper risk assessments (JSA, HAZID, etc.) are carried out and controls are implemented
- Ensure all project activities comply with legal regulations, industry standards, and contractual HSE requirements
- Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Maintain HSE records and reporting
- Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and walk-throughs to verify implementation of HSE measures and identify improvement opportunities
- Deliver or coordinate HSE induction training, toolbox talks, and topic-specific training (e.g. working at height, confined space)
- Promote HSE culture
- Develop and test emergency response plans, conduct drills, and ensure readiness for incidents or accidents
- Oversee contractor HSE performance, approve their HSE plans, and ensure alignment with project standards
- Report on HSE statistics (e.g. TRIR, near misses) on project leadership. Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement
- Act as a point of contact for client HSE teams, regulators, and internal management. Ensure transparency and proactive communication

- You have a minimum of 3 years of experience from a similar role, preferably within the wind industry or oil gas industry
- You have experience with HSE projects, and legal regulations as well as industry standards
- You are used to handling regular site safety inspections, audits and walk-throughs to verify implementation of HSE measures
- You have great stakeholder management skills
