The position
As an Environmental Professional you will be responsible for fulfilling ET´s ambitious environmental targets. You will own the environmental improvement plan and ensure that ET have initiatives that supports our targets. You will also be responsible for contact to authorities regarding environmental matters and ensuring that we are in compliance as well as oversight of cross departmental environmental projects and initiatives will be your responsibility.
You will be responsible for ensuring that ET meets Novo Nordisk’s environmental policy and implements Novo Nordisk’s environmental strategy “Circular for Zero”. This includes environmental targets, compliance to current legislation and global standards (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001).
ET is a data driven organization, also within EHS. A natural interest in, and ability to work with, environmental data would be highly valued, as this is an area under development.
Qualifications
We value the following competencies in our new colleague: You hold a master’s degree in environmental management/science or similar background. You have experience with environmental work. Naturally, you set direction and motivate people working with you. You have strong stakeholder management capabilities as you will work across our area and with the central environmental department within Novo Nordisk A/S. Furthermore, you can work both independently and through others. As you will be controlling several improvement projects throughout ET it is required that you have experience with project management. You are professionally proficient in both written and spoken Danish and English. About The Department
You will be part of ET Strategy & Operational Excellence in Product Supply, Quality & IT. In Strategy & Operational Excellence we are responsible for cLEAN, training, QMS and Environmental, Health and Safety across ET. EHS is covered by two roles one with a primary focus on Environmental and one with a primary focus on Health and Safety.
