About the department
The position is anchored in the Technology Innovation Unit within Emerging Technologies, whose key mission is to redefine our manufacturing approach by creating fully data driven and continuous digital processes. With the rapid advancement within digitalization, we are expanding our department and bringing new competencies and skills. Our ambition is to be the frontier, use the latest technology to make significant impact on how we operate the future manufacturing processes.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain digital solutions to support and optimize production, administrative and business processes
• Create low code applications, automate manual processes -e.g., via Power Apps, Power Automate.
• Create and validate data pipelines (data acquisition, preparation, cleaning, and consolidation).
• Create BI reports and other visualisation dashboards using different data sources.
• Taking responsibility for your tasks, articulate ideas and solutions within the business context.
Qualifications
• 1-3 years of work experience with proven track record of developing successful solutions from idea to launch.
• Masters' Degree within relevant field (Maths, Statistics, Computer Science, Business/Economics or similar) - preferably MSc.
• Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.) and other low code tools (e.g. Alteryx), understanding DevOPs.
• Experience with ETL, visualization tools, statistical modelling - SQL, PowerBi, Tableau, Grafana, R, Python.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal, and able to tailor communication to different organisational levels.
Bonus points
• Experience with Agile (write the userstories, Sprint ceremonies, Scrum).
• Storytelling.
• Eager to co-create an international environment.
• Continuous learner - taking extra courses e.g. Data Science, Machine Learning etc.
Personal skills
• Structured, systematic and analytical in the way you approach tasks.
• Able to prioritise and awareness of time-lines.
• Have a great attention to details and are quality-conscious.
• Have a curious mindset, proactive and self-driven.
• Have an ability and desire to gain an understanding of new complex and potentially very technical issues.
• Being innovative and thinking outside the box.
• Like to be challenged and getting out of your comfort zone.
• Handling steep learning curve - "doing while learning" approach.
• Having a critical mindset (e.g. identifying questionable data, evaluating whether critical assumptions are unrealistic).
• Team player with can-do attitude.
