The Position As an Engineering Responsible, you will be part of a newly established team and will support our project department with design and technical solutions. Based on the requirements of the process, you will make suggestions regarding design, equipment, components, and physical construction. You will contribute to all aspects - from design, layout, purchasing, construction, qualification, and validation to documentation. You will also contribute to the implementation of engineering standards, ensuring that all technical, quality, and safety input is adjusted and implemented. To sum up, you ensure and live up to good engineering practice as a user representative in our projects. In this position, you will be working in close collaboration with many different stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure high quality, efficiency, reliability, and stability in our upcoming production facility. It will be necessary to have availability for travelling at some point as you will be working from our main office in Odense, but you will be required to participate in meetings etc. in our office in Høje Taastrup. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have: • An academic degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or similar.
• Experience with working on similar projects and with the design of equipment and installations, including validation and qualification.
• Knowledge of automation, electricity knowledge, regulation, and measurement technique.
• Experience working in a GMP environment within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in English, Danish is an advantage. Furthermore, on a personal level, you are detail-oriented and flexible with a high sense of responsibility. With a structured approach to tasks, you thrive in a dynamic environment and can adjust to change quickly. About the Department is significantly increasing its manufacturing capacity across all areas to serve more patients in the coming years.
Our department is working to expand the capacity of our Biotech and Rare Disease production. The highly automated facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products. It will expand our packaging and assembly capacity to serve more people living with serious chronic diseases including rare diseases. Our new organization has just started its growth journey, and this is a unique chance to be part of a start-up environment within a large multinational organisation. Working at Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD), Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) is part of Product Supply, a global production network at the forefront of technology and quality production of pharmaceutical products. In BRD, we not only supply all products to people living with serious chronic diseases, but we also use our competences in biotech to support the growing efforts into completely new production platforms and therapy areas for Novo Nordisk. We have more than 3000 dedicated colleagues working at six production sites in Denmark and the United States. Here we cover the entire production value chain where raw materials are cultivated, purified, formulated, filled, assembled in devices, packed, and distributed globally.
