You will be responsible for orchestrating our scientific communication across congresses and digital channels and ensure predictability in our deliverables. Your leadership will help ensure that leads in effective scientific communications globally. The position reports to the Corporate Vice President, Strategic Scientific Communication, Global Medical Affairs.Key Responsibilities Establish the new organisation: Ensure strong collaboration and sense of belonging in the new area, with a culture of challenging status quo. Set strategic direction: Set adirection for the area aligned with 's mission and values, benefiting operations and patients. Establish efficient and predictable processes: Optimizecross-organisationalprocesses to ensure stability and predictability. Drive organisational and employee development: Foster growth and enhance performance for improved business results. Qualifications:You are an experienced people leader with 5+ years experience leading global teams. You hold a degree in business or life sciences, and you are well experienced in the pharmaceutical industry. We are looking for a candidate with experience from the pharmaceutical value chain and ideally with a successful track record within medical affairs and scientific communication. You are recognized for:Your ability to lead and navigate increasing complexity in a global matrix setup. Being a strategic thinker with the ability to make informed decisions and drive transformative change. A proven history of driving strategic initiatives, process optimization, and operational execution. Proven successful leadership experience from leading leaders. Excellent communication, and people skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate leaders and your organization. About the areaScientific Communication Excellence is part of Strategic Scientific Communication (SSC), anchored in Global Medical Affairs. SSC is responsible for orchestrating scientific communication across the portfolio and communication channels.We leverage our diverse perspectives to generate innovative ideas and high-quality solutions, ensuring continuous improvement of the way we operate.
