About the role
Are you ready to guide and develop our Digital & Safety Design departments to effectively carry out some of the biggest and most complex projects within the pharmaceutical industry? As Director of the area, we guarantee your next career move will be exciting.
You will be reporting to the Corporate Vice President for Process and Facility Design overseeing 6 departments based in Virum and Kalundborg. In this role, you’ll be the strategist as well as the leader who must be able to steer the departments towards strategic short-term and long-term objectives aligned with the mirrored DSD organisation in our office in India.
Your main areas of responsibility will range from ensuring resource planning to execute engineering projects, build up and strengthen our Indian organization, alongside running cross-organizational change and improvement processes.

As Director in Digital & Safety Design, you can look forward to:
- Ensure robust capacity planning towards projects
- Ensure appropriate project execution strategies
- Live up to the current key employee retention and employee survey goals for the department
- Effective implementation of strategy and adherence to values
- Continuous contact to key project managers to follow up on and support performance of the disciplines in the projects
- Support and mitigate changes, project errors and customer complaints
- Continuously align operational and strategical work towards the Indian organisation
- Meet the department budget for the year
- Ensure QMS, GEP and system compliance
Develop s capabilities in the form of own disciplines and related cross-disciplinary interfaces:
- Scout for and bring new discipline relevant technology into play to ensure innovative solutions in our designs for our customers
- Ensure a uniform development of engineering services across disciplines to meet the newest trends in the industry and expectation from customers
- Support cross-disciplinary capabilities and initiatives defined by our strategy
Provide strategic advice and direction as you:
- Give input to s strategic direction and implement/translate strategy effectively across own departments.
- Communicate visionary and link s strategic to daily operations
- Ensure good relations to customers and their production sites

- A higher education in Engineering or equivalent with additional executive programme (e.g. M.Sc. or B.Sc.)
- Min. 10 years of professional experience
- Deep industry knowledge (pharma and engineering consultancy)
- Proven history of solid management and leadership skills
- Proven record in building long-lasting relations to customers
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
