Samsøe Samsøe dates back to 1993, when a small jewellery shop opened in Copenhagen’s Latin Quarter. The label soon expanded to include premium T-shirts and knitwear, primarily for men. In 2000, the current owners took over of the brand, transforming it into an international fashion house focusing on contemporary clothes, footwear and accessories for men and women.
With a nod to its Scandinavian heritage, Samsøe Samsøe is defined by a wearable aesthetic that combines the utilitarian ease of Copenhagen street style with a quintessentially Scandinavian spirit. SAMSØE SAMSØE is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Pattern Designer to join our Pattern Design team. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in a fast-growing international fashion company, based in the heart of Copenhagen.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare and construct measurement schemes for both menswear and womenswear
- Develop and work with patterns in Gerber CAD/CAM
- Participate in fittings and provide comments on house models with the design team
- Create and update measurement charts
- Produce detail drawings and construction sketches in CLO 3D
- Support the team with various tasks related to collection development
- Collaborate closely with our Product Development team
Your Profile
- You hold a relevant degree (minimum 2 years of education)
- You enjoy working independently as well as in a team
- You are curious, eager to learn, and open to gaining insight into production workflows
- Experience with Gerber CAD/CAM, KUBIX PLM, and CLO 3D is a plus, but not a requirement
- Previous experience is beneficial, but not mandatory
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
