Product Sustainability Intern
Samsøe Samsøe is looking for a Product Sustainability Intern to join our Sustainability team. In the Sustainability team, you will assist the Head of Sustainability and Sustainability Coordinator in delivering on several sustainability projects, with a specific focus on our Product Sustainability and Supply Chain.

Samsøe Samsøe is looking for a Product Sustainability Intern to join our Sustainability team. In the Sustainability team, you will assist the Head of Sustainability and Sustainability Coordinator in delivering on several sustainability projects, with a specific focus on our Product Sustainability and Supply Chain.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data inputting and structuring for sustainability reporting
- Supporting the management of internal processes related to Responsible Sourcing, Product Certifications, Supplier Management and Traceability
- Coordinating with suppliers to collect documentation and data
- Working with our Production team to further manage, map and trace our supply chain
- Working with relevant third-party product certification bodies to ensure we meet the requirements
- Creating assets such as presentations, operational procedures or other supporting documents
- Supporting the monitoring and researching of research, trend reports, policy changes, and new regulations to identify potential impact on strategy
- Building relationships internally to ensure we engage teams and communicate our sustainability efforts effectively
QUALIFICATIONS
The role requires a strong understanding of sustainability principles and their relevance to the fashion industry.
- Under education to degree level in Sustainability, Business Management, or a related field, or at least tick most of the below boxes:
- Relevant knowledge of sustainable business development, including knowledge with one or more topics related to social compliance, product certifications and
- Structured, proactive and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Autonomous, proactive, with a good team spirit and good analytical skills
- Expert in Excel, fully mastering Powerpoint, delivering high-quality outcomes through a structured, analytical and data-supported approach.
- Excellent English language skills, oral and written
- Available for a duration of between 4-6 months as part of an unpaid internship
