You will join 30 experienced colleagues in Corporate Procurement at our headquarters in Humlebæk, Denmark, and more than 60 people globally across 9 countries. You will join a team of seven Category Managers in Indirect Procurement, focused on building and maintaining a strong supplier portfolio to deliver value to our stakeholders.Work strategically with indirect procurement
Main categories in scope are the IT categories, and depending on your profile, there will be possibilities to take on other indirect categories as well.Working in collaboration with the organization from senior stakeholders to individual team members, you will develop, align, and implement category strategies being responsible for the strategic direction of the category.We are looking for a candidate who can open doors and both excite, engage, and challenge stakeholders so they are committed to the strategic direction agreed and the initiatives you will implement.
You will own and drive the full procurement process and be responsible for sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract management with the support from IT. You will have support from a team of sourcing managers to whom you will delegate to prioritize stakeholder management and category strategies.
You will join an organisation who just launched a new five-year strategy, and as our new colleague, you will in addition be able to influence how we strengthen and further build our category management approach.Specifically, you will:• Define strategic procurement direction for targeted categories globally
• Build and invest in strong relations in the business on all levels
• Apply your analytical skills to deliver value to the business and to Procurement
• Drive strategic priorities bridging theory and hypothesis to practice
• Execute the strategic procurement direction for the targeted categories with the support of sourcing managers
• Be on top of supply market intelligence and dynamics, bringing external perspectives and insights to your stakeholdersHave you worked within consulting or procurement with a global reach?
We are looking for a colleague with solid experience from a similar position working with IT preferably as well as other indirect categories on a global scale. You excel in building relationships across organizational levels, and you have structured approach to identify, mature, and drive sourcing projects. Moreover, you have an analytical mindset and apply data to support your recommendations and decisions. You are no stranger to strategic thinking or category management, and being process- and results-driven, you are open to understanding new contexts, speak your mind and bring ideas to the table.Moreover, we imagine that you:• Hold a relevant degree within e.g. law, procurement or finance
• Have several years of experience from other procurement or consultancy functions with a global reach
• Have solid experience with indirect category management and in-depth knowledge around IT
• Have a proven track record of establishing strong relations on senior level and strategy development
