Project Coordinator – Operational Technology | Lead OT Projects Driving the Renewable Energy Revolution

Join [xxxxx]’s OT Competence Center and become a key driver in the renewable energy revolution. We seek an experienced OT Project Coordinator to lead initiatives in operational technology infrastructure to ensure world-class project execution.

With [xxxxx], you will be part of an expanding company that plays a major role in the global expansion of wind, solar, and Power-to-X plants. We develop, build, and operate plants globally, and since 2004 we have installed renewable energy plants worth more than 18 billion DKK, reaching 900 employees in 2025.

The Role

As the OT Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in guiding the project execution within OT with your expertise. You will coordinate initiatives to ensure compliance with the reference architecture and enable operational excellence on new and existing assets across all core technologies.

Reporting to the Head of OT, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to enable efficient design, implementation, and operation of the various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the global OT service catalogue for internal projects and external plant owners, and coordinate deliveries.
  • Align delivery milestones and prioritisation with stakeholders on pre-FID projects and retrofits on operational assets.
  • Escalate project risks to the project steering committees and participate in mitigation strategies.
  • Selection of suppliers and scheduling of external deliveries.
  • Coordinate user engagement and change processes e.g., changes to SCADA systems, Access Management, or infrastructure implementation.
  • Defining and managing SLAs and OLAs with relevant teams.
  • Automate rollouts of infrastructure elements and applications within core technologies.

About You

You are an experienced professional with a background in engineering, IT, or automation, preferably with experience working on complex projects in energy systems or process plants. With some hands-on experience with project execution, you are ready to advance into a coordinating role. In addition, you bring:

  • Proven stakeholder management skills, preferably with utilities and asset owners in the energy sector.
  • Commercial understanding of service and product delivery to customers.
  • Experience working with industry frameworks such as IEC 62443.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information simply by compelling presentations to non-technical audiences.
  • An analytical/quantitative mindset and a logical approach to problem-solving
  • A driver’s license for a passenger car for site visits.
  • Full professional proficiency in English; proficiency in Danish or German is a plus.

You will drive standardization, documentation, and change management within OT, so you have a holistic mindset, and an ability to quickly grasp new concepts and business areas. You are adept at communicating the importance of the OT area to diverse audiences and are patient and persistent in achieving long-term goals.
