The shutdown is a key process that happens twice yearly in our facility: in July/August and December/January. It is during the shutdown that the production is paused so that virtually all-important maintenance, project and qualification work can be performed. In this role, you will be tasked with planning and executing the biannual shutdowns of our facility, with assistance of line of business and other support areas. This involves:
  • Maintaining and running the so-called shutdown annual planning wheel; detailed planning of both winter and summer shutdowns, including scenario planning.
  • Stakeholder management, to ensure that all needed activities/projects are captured.
  • Coordination of the ramp-down, project phase and ramp-up.
  • Post-shutdown debriefing and lessons learned with measurement of shutdown performance through relevant KPI.
  • Continuous improvement of the shutdown process.
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving, particularly during the actual shutdown.
  • Training other colleagues in the shutdown process.
    • Qualifications
    We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
  • Up to 2 years of experience in an aseptic manufacturing environment, preferably having participated in shutdowns before. Alternatively, at least 4 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Technical background (technician) or a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical discipline.
  • Pharma and/or GMP related experience.
  • Fluency in Danish is needed, as is a good level of English.
    • Further, to succeed in this position you will have to have good planning skills, creating detailed plans that anticipate potential obstacles and manage resources effectively.But also, respond to changes in scenarios and adjust the plans as needed. When facing unforeseen obstacles, you actively seek new solutions and demonstrate resilience, often helping others in the process as well. Finally, in this position there is a lot of stakeholder management. So, building and maintaining relationships is key, and so is communicating ideas clearly and persuasively in both written and verbal forms.About the department

The shutdown coordination is part of Business Support – an area also responsible for projects, training, logistics, finance, lean, product release, inspection and warehouse.
