In the position as Process Engineer, you will be a part of the Development department and with direct reference to the Process Team Manager take part in developing safe and reliable solutions for the company’s electrolysers; the heart of Green Hydrogen Systems’ solutions. This will be done in close collaboration with the System Architects, Technical Leads and System Owners.

To succeed in this role, you come with an educational background on Bachelor’s or Master’s level preferably within chemistry, energy, mechanical or thermal engineering, and experience within the field of product development, knowing the product development lifecycle’s different phases.
Having experience in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, compressible flow, process design and documentation of risk assessments is required, yet acquired experience within electrolysers is an advantage you can highlight in your cv. You master English at a professional level both verbally and in writing and have strong interpersonal skills, thriving with cross-functional collaboration.

You will become a part of the Process Engineering team at Green Hydrogen Systems that consists of 14 engineers with a great collaborative spirit always helping each other. The team is young as for the rest of the teams at Green Hydrogen Systems due to the fact that the company has grown rapidly over the last few years. Your role
In the position as Process Engineer, you will be a part of the Development department and with direct reference to the Process Team Manager take part in developing safe and reliable solutions for the company’s electrolysers; the heart of Green Hydrogen Systems’ solutions. This will be done in close collaboration with the System Architects, Technical Leads and System Owners.
Your key responsibilities will cover:
- Working on conceptual, definition and detailed process design to improve performance, ensure safety and enhance production
- Ensuring that the design is implemented, tested, and validated
- Dimensioning of vessels, equipment, and piping
- Calculating temperature, pressure, flow capacity, etc.
- Analysing data from running electrolysers
- Drawing/reviewing P&IDs, PFDs, specifications, test descriptions, and documentation for technical dossiers and production
- Participating in risk assessment (HAZOP, FMEA, LoPA)
- Liaising with suppliers regarding technical specification for equipment, instruments etc.
- Sharing information and training other disciplines within Process Engineering (enhancing system understanding)
