Welcome to Global Finance
We are a finance organization located at the headquarter in Smørum, Denmark with 45 great colleagues, including Financial- & Business Controlling, FP&A, Tax, Treasury and Finance Systems & Processes. Globally we have +600 finance colleagues incl. approx. 150 finance colleagues in our Shared Service Center in Poland.
You will be joining the Danish Financial Accounting & Controlling Team who are responsible for preparing and controlling the internal and external financial reporting of the Danish Companies.

Tasks and responsibilities
You will be working with accounting, reporting and controlling for the Danish companies owned by the Demant Group.
Working with Demant companies will require you to establish close communication and proactive engagement with the shared service center in Poland, ensuring high quality insights into the financials and analysis on internal and external reporting. You will ensure a solid foundation for business decisions by translating the financials into accurate and timely reporting and insight to management. Finally, having a talent for “working smarter” you will drive improvements in the Financial Accounting & Controlling process across functions, countries and organizational layers and develop smart solutions leveraging available IT tools.

Your toolbox
Ideally, you have a master’s degree in Business Administration, Auditing, Finance, Accounting or similar, combined with experience from an international auditing business or from controlling in an international company.

You can look forward to some of the responsibilities below:
- Participate in and ensure monthly/quarterly/yearly financial controlling and reporting for your areas of responsibility.
- Responsible for monthly input and reconciliation in collaboration with shared service center in Poland for your areas of responsibility.
- In collaboration with HR responsible for monthly salary reconciliation, quarterly provision of holiday allowance etc.
- Participate in preparing the annual reports and assist the auditors in the audit process for the Groups Danish entities.
- Participate in yearly budget process.
- Participate in defining and facilitate projects from end to end with the purpose of continually improving reporting and ensuring compliance.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and Group accounting guidelines.
Your toolbox
Ideally, you have a master’s degree in Business Administration, Auditing, Finance, Accounting or similar, combined with experience from an international auditing business or from controlling in an international company.
Furthermore:
- You have experience with consolidation principles, controlling, and reporting processes, plus understanding of the audit process.
- You are a pro-active user of IT/accounting systems and have hands-on experience with financial ERP systems.
- Your mindset is data-based with high analytical and numerical skills and interest in automation and improvements of processes and reporting.
- You can make complex task simple - in respect of processes, tools, and communication.
- You have good communication skills in both verbal and written Danish and English.
