This position is based at our office in Roskilde, and you will join our Post Trade Program.
The program is responsible for driving the Post Trade Harmonization Initiative, ensuring that our member banks have modern, compliant, and efficient solutions that support the entire post‑trade lifecycle.
The Senior Business Analyst role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to one of
[xxxxx]’s strategic programs. You will work with complex regulatory requirements, collaborate with engaged customers across Denmark, and help shape future solutions that enable the banks to make quality decisions and stay compliant. The role provides a broad stakeholder landscape, close collaboration across teams in both Denmark and Poland, and meaningful influence on solutions used throughout the financial sector. Your direct manager will be Mette Neergård Holm.
Primary tasks and responsibilities include: - Translating customer and regulatory needs into clear, actionable business requirements for the development team.
- Engaging with Product Owners, customers, and internal experts to refine and prioritize solutions.
- Analyzing business challenges and documenting decisions, procedures, and user guides.
- Facilitating workshops, requirement sessions, and knowledge‑sharing activities with stakeholders.
- Collaborating closely with developers to ensure functional and non-functional needs are understood.
- Working with QA to ensure solutions are well‑tested and of high quality.
- Coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders across [xxxxx], ensuring alignment and progress.
- There may be occasions where travel to Poland for team activities and to Danish customers for collaboration and refinement sessions is needed
To succeed you will have: - Several years of experience as a Business Analyst—preferably within the financial sector.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to break down complex problems into clear, structured solutions.
- A strong ability to understand the business and its needs, and to convert them into valuable and actionable requirements.
- Solid understanding of banking processes, regulatory requirements, or Post Trade/Settlement domains.
- Experience working with Agile methods and translating features into user stories.
- It is an advantage if you have a basic understanding of development or technologies such as mainframe and Java.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to align expectations across stakeholders.
- Fluency in Danish and English.
- A collaborative mindset, natural curiosity, and the ability to work across teams and disciplines.
It’s nice-to-have:
- Knowledge of trading, clearing, settlement, or Post Trade processes.
- Experience working in large programs or regulatory initiatives.
- Familiarity with system behavior, integrations, and non‑functional requirements.
- Experience facilitating workshops or leading cross‑team activities.
- Knowledge of SQL, data flows, or technical analysis.
