Would you like to work as an accountant with a wide range of diverse financial management tasks? You will have your own responsibilities and easy access to sparring with the Financial Manager

The conglomerate KYOCERA, with more than 80,000 employees worldwide, is in the process of merging two strong individual companies into one unified organization with approximately 400 employees across Denmark, the Netherlands, France, Sweden, Finland, and ten other countries. Tjep, Senco, and Expandet are becoming KYOCERA FASTENING SOLUTIONS brands, and with this merger, they will serve as the customers’ ONE STRONG CONNECTION in the fastening industry.

About the position
For the two locations in Denmark (Sunds and Græsted), we are searching for an Accountant who will be responsible for the accurate and reliable financial information. You will ensure that the company complies with all financial laws and regulations, and that financial processes are correctly applied and followed.

You will be based in Sunds together with the Financial Manager, and you will work closely with the Controller, who is based at the office and factory in Græsted. You will support both locations - now and in the future situation where both will be part of a single legal entity. A few travel days to Græsted and to the headquarters in the Netherlands should be expected.

You will handle a wide range of diverse financial management tasks, including:

Recording daily financial transactions, such as processing purchase invoices, sales invoices (automation), and travel expenses
Verifying and recording bank statements
Monitoring accounts receivable and accounts payable
Cooperation with collection agencies (debt collection)
Preparing memorandum documents, performing various reconciliations and expense allocations, and generating information for reports
Accurately booking the company's financial information, including revenues, expenses, assets, and liabilities, in the appropriate accounting records
Reporting VAT
Declaring customs for import and export
Preparing the monthly report in accordance with Group rules and processes

Our expectations for you

An educational background suitable for the position, and previous experience in financial administration/accounting tasks
A solid understanding of VAT and accounting legislation
You are an enthusiastic financial management professional, flexible, and take initiative
You are friendly and patient with a strong service mindset, and an accurate, careful team player with a solution-oriented and independent approach to work
Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA
Knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially Excel
Fluent in Danish and English (written and spoken)
