Then this is your opportunity to join VIKING’s Digital Sales and E-Commerce team. We are looking for a curious, structured and digital-native Student Assistant to support the maintenance and development of our digital sales platforms. You will contribute to various projects, help improve workflows, and support testing and data operations across our systems – all while collaborating within a strong digital team.

Your primary responsibilities and tasks will include:

• Supporting technical development tasks in our e-commerce systems
• Conducting system tests and functionality checks on new features
• Help ensure that customer needs and expectations are reflected in digital solutions by understanding user journeys and supporting a seamless online experience
• Assisting with configuration, cleanup and operational improvement tasks
• Enriching and maintaining product content in our PIM (Product Information Management) system
• Helping document digital workflows and system usage
• Supporting with content updates and coordination in collaboration with other team members
• Participating in troubleshooting and identifying root causes of data or process issues
• Ad hoc tasks related to digital operations, commerce and process optimization

You will work approximately 10–15 hours per week, with the expectation of mutual flexibility during peak periods and exam seasons.

Student assistants play an important role within the VIKING organization. Many of our students also complete their internships with us and write their thesis about real-world projects and challenges at VIKING.

About you
The ideal candidate for the position are currently studying – or plan to study – within a relevant field, and ideally have at least two years left of your education.

We imagine you have a structured mindset, a technical interest, and are motivated by solving problems in digital systems and processes. Maybe you’ve already worked with:

• CMS, PIM or other content platforms
• Digital testing or structured QA
• AI tools
• UX/UI or system design
• Web development, database or structured data handling
• IT tools, integrations, or process documentation

Importantly, experience isn’t a must but the right mindset is. We are happy to teach you what you don’t yet know, as long as you are curious and eager to learn.

Since our corporate language is English, you have great English skills – both written and orally.
