We are looking for a Senior Manager to establish and head up a new department in Global Quality Management, with the main responsibility of supporting compliance of regulated activities related to sales and distribution.
You will immediately be included in an ongoing strategic project looking at optimizing the operating model for regulated activities carried out by ’s Global Sales organization, as well as the general set-up for control of distributors. Through this, you will take part in improving operational efficiency in while at the same time defining the roles and responsibilities of your area and setting your own team.
You will report to the Director of Global Quality Management Systems.

As this position will head up a new area that is to be established, you are expected to be hands-on involved as Global Quality Management business partner for ’s Global Sales area and carry out activities to maintain the current set-up when you start.

Key responsibilities
As this position will head up a new area that is to be established, you are expected to be hands-on involved as Global Quality Management business partner for ’s Global Sales area and carry out activities to maintain the current set-up when you start.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Take role as Global Quality Management Business Partner for ’s Global Sales Organization. This includes understanding the current operating model, being responsible for maintaining current intercompany Quality Agreements between A/S◀ and our Sales entities and providing continuous support / guidance to the Global Sales organization in relation to effective implementation of regulated activities and control of sub-distributors. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in Global Quality Management Systems, Global Regulatory Affairs, Global Sales, Global Legal & Global Supply Chain.
- Participate in ongoing strategic project for optimizing the operating model for regulated activities in ’s Global Sales organization and general set-up for control of distributors in
- Establish roles & responsibilities for your future team in alignment with defined operating model
- Hire in the necessary and relevant staff to drive defined activities
- Day to day management of the Global QM Sales & Distribution team, and member of the Global QM extended leadership team
- Ensure defined activities under your area of responsibility
- Support colleagues in ’s Global Sales organization during audits and inspections by local authorities
- Present documentation within area of responsibility in audits and inspections of A/S◀
Suggested candidate profile
Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you possess/are:
- A minimum of 8 year’s demonstrated experience of collaborating with Sales teams in relation to regulated activities and / or control of distributors – preferably from a Medical Device setting
- Solid understanding of Medical Device regulations (ISO13485, MDSAP, EU MDR, UK MDR) is preferred
- Documented Managerial experience with leading a department or team within Quality Management will be considered an advantage
- Not afraid to roll up your sleeves and be hands on operational yourself
- Passion for driving quality and compliance through business partnering with the organization.
- Characterized by being pragmatic with high focus on collaboration and stakeholder management in a truly global environment.
- Outgoing personality with a strong business understanding
- Comfortable communicating with colleagues from different levels and areas, while facilitating effective implementation within a global organization
