Smørum
Would you like to work with some of the world’s most advanced technologies - building new features and helping ensure they work flawlessly? Are you ready to join an agile team that prioritizes collaboration and knowledge sharing? And do you want to make life better for millions of people worldwide? Then this is your opportunity!
What this is all about
is a growing, international company improving the quality of life for people with hearing loss. You’ll be based at our headquarters in Smørum, close to Copenhagen, where we value an informal and collaborative work environment. You’ll join our international Software Solutions Group (250+ colleagues in Denmark and Poland), and your role will primarily focus on software development while also involving contributions to our automated testing efforts.
We are looking for a colleague with a T-shaped mindset – someone who is passionate about software development but is ready to step outside traditional coding tasks when needed.
Your day-to-day
You’ll work in a cross-functional agile team developing and enhancing Windows-based fitting software, which is used by hearing care professionals to adjust hearing aids. Your role combines software development and test automation - including both UI-level and system-level testing - while ensuring regulatory compliance and high quality. You’ll collaborate with team members and other stakeholders, participate in design and code reviews, SAFe ceremonies, and support the team beyond your core responsibilities when needed.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a relevant educational background, such as Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field, and with solid professional experience as a software developer. You are comfortable working with C#/.NET and Visual Studio, and experience with WPF/XAML is a bonus. Most importantly, you take pride in writing clean, maintainable code and believe that quality assurance is a shared team responsibility.
You may already have experience with test automation tools like TestComplete, Selenium, or Playwright, or you are eager to learn more about them, as well as CI/CD pipelines. You enjoy working in agile, cross-functional teams where collaboration, feedback, and continuous development are valued. We appreciate a structured and proactive approach, and we welcome your willingness to contribute broadly - whether that’s coding, testing, or supporting the team in other ways. Fluency in English and an interest in working in an international, collaborative environment are also important.
Why apply…
You get to join a major company in its field and an organization with an international footprint. We provide a collaborative and inclusive work environment and the opportunity to contribute to the commercial growth of our organization.
We believe in challenging tasks balanced with a healthy work-life balance. You’ll be encouraged to share ideas, grow your skills, and contribute to a supportive, innovative culture.
