Key role in a global pharmaceutical production environment

About the department The Supply Chain department at Pharmacosmos is a central part of Product Supply organization and consists of approximately 10 dedicated employees. The department is responsible for the daily operations and planning of supply chain processes related to both raw materials and finished goods. The team works closely with Contract manufacturers, QA, production, customer service, and sales, both within Denmark and internationally.
The department is characterized by a high level of professionalism, a structured approach to tasks, and a culture that values collaboration and continuous improvement. The manager, Kuno Andersen, leads with an open and trust-based leadership style that encourages ownership and the sharing of ideas for optimization.
About the job As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be part of a strong and collaborative team working closely with contract manufacturers, QA, production, planning, and warehouse functions. The role combines operational execution with process improvement and system-related support – and is essential in ensuring compliant and efficient supply chain operations in a GMP-regulated setup.

About the job As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be part of a strong and collaborative team working closely with contract manufacturers, QA, production, planning, and warehouse functions. The role combines operational execution with process improvement and system-related support – and is essential in ensuring compliant and efficient supply chain operations in a GMP-regulated setup.
You key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate daily supply chain activities related to batch documentation and material release.
- Ensure timely and accurate follow-up on deviations and related documentation.
- Take operational responsibility for selected CMO partners across countries such as Germany, Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, and the US – including coordination, troubleshooting, and follow-up on deliveries.
- Contribute to the support of affiliates, including supply planning, monthly reconciliation, and ongoing alignment with local needs.
- Support ongoing improvement initiatives and participate in cross-functional projects.
- Maintain and update supply chain master data (e.g., BOMs, recipes).
- Be a key link between the supply chain and related stakeholders – internal and external.
About you You bring a strong operational mindset and enjoy working across functions in a structured yet fast-moving environment. You understand the importance of compliance and documentation and have a proactive and service-minded approach to problem-solving.
To thrive in this role, you bring:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain or production planning – preferably within a GMP-regulated industry.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics, and supply chain master data processes.
- Experience with forecasting and planning tools.
- Understanding of supply chain processes in an international context.
- Proficiency in Excel and data-driven decision making.
- Experience with S&OP, demand planning, and collaboration with external suppliers is an advantage.
- An understanding of the interfaces between production and quality assurance.
- Fluency in Danish and the ability to communicate in English at a professional level.
It is a plus if you have:
- Experience with improvement initiatives or system/process optimisation.
- A relevant education within the supply chain, logistics, production engineering or similar.
