Strike drones are replacing short and medium-range cruise missiles; naval drones are taking out destroyers, submarines and support ships; drones costing the equivalent of a PlayStation 5 disables long-range strategic bombers; and unmanned ground vehicles adds a new layer to the hellish conditions in the trench lines.

What distinguishes this conflict from previous ones is its rapid pace. New technologies are created, implemented, and outdated within weeks. Although the frontline spans a significant distance, the impact of this arms race goes well beyond it. The threats affecting key areas now could potentially reach major cities across the region within a few years.

Time is short – but there is still time. Join us and help safeguard our nations and allies. We are seeking a skilled Development Technician/Pilot to join our team building counter-drone systems.

Your role in our team

As a UAS Development Technician/Pilot, you will be responsible for assembling vehicles, planning and executing test missions, collecting and analyzing data from the missions, and feeding learnings and experiences back to our engineering team. You will leverage your technical expertise in UAS technology while also piloting UAVs during testing and operational missions.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and test UAV systems and components, ensuring compliance with operational requirements and safety standards
• Plan, coordinate and execute flight test missions of autonomous UAS prototypes
• Conduct pre-flight checks and post-flight assessments to ensure UAVs are flight-ready and perform as expected
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate new technologies and features into our systems
• Analyze flight data and system performance to identify areas for improvement and performance enhancement
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for UAV operations and safety protocols

Bring your world-class expertise into play

You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or similar in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in UAS operation of systems still under development
• Expert skills and experience in FPV piloting
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with UAV design, flight dynamics, systems integration, and performance metrics
• Valid UAV pilot certification and experience operating various UAV platforms in diverse environments
• Familiarity with autonomous flight systems and technologies, along with a keen interest in pushing UAS capabilities forward
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate and enhance performance
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Experience in defense or related industries is preferred
