Are you an experienced veterinarian with a passion for cattle health, biosecurity, and international collaboration? Join our team in Assentoft, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring the health and welfare of our livestock and contribute to innovative breeding and export processes.
As our new veterinarian, you will work closely with colleagues across barns, quarantine facilities, the Embryo Lab, Breeding, and Export. You’ll be responsible for maintaining high health standards, coordinating treatments, and supporting continuous improvement in our veterinary and biosecurity practices.

As part of your role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health status of our bulls and heifers across our stations, including coordinating veterinary treatments. You will actively contribute to our biosecurity efforts by managing relevant documentation and certificates. In addition, you will handle export-related tasks in close collaboration with authorities, ensuring compliance with legislation concerning animal welfare, as well as the import and export of semen and embryos. You are expected to prioritize tasks effectively and deliver high-quality results in a dynamic and cross-functional environment.

As our new veterinarian, you will work closely with colleagues across barns, quarantine facilities, the Embryo Lab, Breeding, and Export. Your main tasks
- Monitor and ensure the health of bulls and heifers, including treatment coordination.
- Manage biosecurity protocols, documentation, and certification processes.
- Train and support barn staff to enhance professional skills and animal care.
- Participate in cross-functional projects, including embryo production and export initiatives.
- Liaise with authorities regarding animal welfare, import/export legislation, and certification.
Your qualifications
- Valid Danish Veterinary Authorization.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
- Strong background in cattle health, biosecurity, and international certification procedures.
