Therefore, we are looking for a Senior Network Specialist to join our Core IT Services team.
With reference to our Head of Core IT Services, you will become part of our internal IT organisation, which enables all Kamstrup employees in their daily work. Our IT department consists of 60+ dedicated colleagues supporting all of Kamstrup’s divisions globally. You can expect a grounded tech-savvy team, that is characterised by mutual respect, professionalism, and collaboration. We prioritise knowledge-sharing in a fast-paced work environment, and we are looking for an equal-minded colleague, who like having fun along the way. More specifically, you will be a key player in operations of our network infrastructure supporting both Kamstrup’s services for customers as well as internal infrastructure globally.
A job with focus on a modern, secure enterprise network, and professional growth
In the position as Senior Network Specialist, you will work closely with another senior specialist on the development and operations of Kamstrup’s key network services. Together, you will interact with business units, envision and lay down the foundations for Kamstrup’s network infrastructure. You will also be a key sparring partner for colleagues in the rest of the IT organisation. Some of your work will be structured into improvement projects that you help to envision and shape – often in collaboration with external consultants if needed.If you are not already a SDA specialist, we are ready to invest in developing your capabilities.

Personality matters
We are looking for a talented Senior Network Specialist. We imagine that you have an educational background within IT, but it is not essential. We do however value relevant general experience with Cisco networking in large scale or complex networks and a strong track-record. We are searching for tech-savvy talents with a strong desire and will to develop their capabilities to the next level. Cisco certifications are highly relevant.
It will be a major plus if you have relevant experience within one or more of the following areas of expertise:
As a person, you are ambitious and have a structured and analytical approach to problem solving. You take initiative and have the courage to challenge status quo, when it makes sense. You thrive in a complex organisation, and your communication skills enable you to navigate successfully with many stakeholders, deadlines, and timelines. As you will be working closely together with another Senior Network Specialist and other colleagues, we imagine that you prefer collaboration and knowledge-sharing too.
It is a requirement that you are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Danish will be an advantage.

- Working with input from Kamstrup divisions to ensure optimum alignment in the development of networking services
- Identifying and implementing improvements to the network infrastructure
- Performing 3rd level troubleshooting and resolve network related problems on a day-to-day basis across a wide range of infrastructure components
- Giving advice to both colleagues and management on recent developments in network technologies and infrastructure
- Planning and coordinating critical test and maintenance activities
