Sykehuset Telemark HF (STHF) is responsible for hospital and specialist healthcare services for around 170,000 inhabitants in Telemark. The hospital's patient care is organized in seven clinics, and has both somatic and psychiatric activities at several locations in Telemark.

Job description:
We have a 100% permanent position available for senior physician/specialist in endocrinology. Joining by agreement.
The endocrinology section in Skien is organized under "Department A; Heart, kidney and hormone diseases" in the Medical Clinic, STHF. We treat patients with the entire spectrum of disorders within the field of endocrinology. In 2022, the endocrinology outpatient clinic had approximately 3,700 outpatient consultations. The inpatient unit is shared for heart, kidney and hormone diseases and has 24 beds, of which 9 beds are reserved for kidney/hormone. The polyclinic employs three diabetes nurses and three full-time senior positions in Skien. There is also patient treatment with endocrinological problems in Kragerø and at Notodden Hospital, where there is a close collaboration with the senior physician in Skien.
Skills:
Education, work experience, language, certificate etc. Valid Norwegian authorization as a doctor. The hospital can be helpful in autorizing authorization
Approved specialty in endocrinology from Norway or the EEA
Approved Norwegian course. The hospital can be helpful with language courses
On call duty
Working hours and place of work: Our clinic is located in Skien, two hours south of Oslo
Participation in guard duty
Startdate: Permanent position, as soon as possible.
Salary: Wages in accordance with agreement
Other information: The hospital will cover moving costs and is helping with language training. The hospital can also provide temporary accommodation at startup.
