Sykehuset Telemark HF (STHF) is responsible for hospital and specialist healthcare services for around 170,000 inhabitants in Telemark. The hospital's patient care is organized in seven clinics, and has both somatic and psychiatric activities at several locations in Telemark.

Job description:
We want to expand our group of doctors and are looking for more pulmonic diseases specialists.
We want to employ doctors with great commitment, who want to elevate the profession and who can contribute to the good development of the section's offer to its own patients and to other parts of the hospital.
The section for pulmonic diseases consists of an inpatient ward with 20 beds, 2 are intermediate level for extended surveillance, and an outpatient clinic. The section's doctors have close and good cooperation with the intensive care unit and other 24-hour sections at the hospital.
The section currently has 5 specialists and an acting senior doctor. In addition, there are four LIS rotational positions associated with the section.
Main areas of work:
Work at the pulmonic disease ward and outpatient clinic
Close collaboration with the intensive care unit and other sections in the hospital.
Guidance and follow-up of LIS
Contribute with internal teaching
Skills:
Specialist in pulmonic diseases
Must have command of Norwegian or Scandinavian language orally and in writing before assuming
position. The hospital can be helpful with language courses
Valid Norwegian authorization as a doctor – The hospital can be helpful in securing authorization
Commitment and great professional interest
Thrives in an active and busy environment
Good collaboration and communication skills
Flexible and solution-oriented
Personal suitability is emphasized
Working hours and place of work: Our clinic is located in Skien, two hours south of Oslo.
Working hours is mainly daytime, with participation in on call duty some evenings and weekends.
Start date: Start-up by further agreement
Salary: Wages in accordance with agreement
Other information: The hospital will cover moving costs and is helping with language training. The hospital can also provide temporary accommodation at startup.
