Oceans and Logistics is one of our largest business segments and as we continue to grow, we have created the role of Global Director-Asset Reliability and Maintenance

As an integral part of the Asset Management function, our warehouses, cold storages and depots are a supply chain pit-stop, expertly designed to keep products flowing through the supply chain. Efficient and highly compliant, we currently have warehouses in over 50 countries. But, with growth comes plans to expand our capacity and global footprint further.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team focused on developing governance and policies for asset lifecycle management, including but not limited to Facilities management, Materials, Handling, Automation and Equipment

  • Drive proactive and predictive management tools and standard.

  • Identify opportunities to improve and enhance the life cycle of all Sites and MHE

  • Define standards to reduce and eliminate asset downtime through proactive and innovative approaches.

  • Define standards and tools to minimize maintenance and repair costs through proactive and innovative approaches.

  • Provides technical guidance in relation to global procedures specifications.

  • Assists Country operations and technician teams to train them on the standards as necessary.

  • Performs training and evaluation of staff capabilities.

  • Identify recurring issues and highlight to leadership and/or service owner; identify opportunities to reduce defects.

  • Collaborate with other teams to improve support tools.

  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders to drive the agenda.

  • Establish and manage vendor relationships, and conduct vendor audits where necessary, from time to time.

  • Work globally to ensure consistency and adherence to standard global asset management processes.

  • Identify and execute on cost opportunities within asset management space.

  • Continuous improvement and review of SLAs

  • Define and lead digitization of assets and asset management, and define, standardize and own Asset data.

  • Identify and respond to professional growth needs for team members and ensure they have the proper training and knowledge to execute team deliverables.

  • Foster a work culture at all levels that is positive, collaborative, respectful, innovative, dynamic, with high integrity, and capable of driving positive change over sustained periods of time.


Qualifications

  • Good to have Degree in a “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum 8 years of experience.

  • Experienced in design, performance, availability and scalability of assets and infrastructure.

  • Knowledge of business and financial principles and practices

  • Demonstrated ability to manage team/product operations within own budget.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects based on business strategies and customer requirements.

  • Demonstrated customer focus – manages technical issues in complex, difficult, or stressful situations; evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships and creates processes with customer viewpoint.

  • Proven ability to work with global teams; collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources.

  • Ability to proactively identify and remove obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team.

  • Demonstrated experience influencing across a complex, global matrix organization.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressure.
