Are you creative and able to think out of the box? Then you can assist us in improving automation processes and help us take the next steps in producing pharmaceutical products! As the Automation Engineer, you will lead the technical automation activities and solutions in supporting the current and future Automation/ IT Track lead for the large-scale multi-purpose facilities in our Copenhagen site.
About the department:

We collaborate with diverse stakeholders in the organization at site and global levels including Production departments, IT, MSAT, and QA. Your broad understanding of Automation and IT technology will support and lead the way for how we manage all process control systems and further develop our platforms as we head towards Industry 4.0.
Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Participate in major digitalization initiatives in various Automation and OT projects at site and global level such as, implementation of new Process Control Systems, Process Historians, eBR and MES, S88/S95 Batch Production, Alarm Management and digitalization of paper-based processes.
- Establishing new process control systems and implementing changes, reviewing vendor activities, preparing GMP documentation, and conducting qualification and commissioning tests for automation packages.
- Handle inquiries from other technical leads related to onboarding of new control systems including troubleshooting of existing systems and daily operational support.
- Following a systematic approach to create and translate production processes into process control systems and eBR by following Good Documentation Practices. Competent process knowledge is an added advantage.
- Working with our automation vendors to identify the right technical solutions and ensure they are being implemented as per our business requirements.
Desired Competencies:
- 2+ years of experience in process engineering or controls engineering field preferred.
- Knowledge of DCS systems, SCADA and PLC solutions, particularly Siemens PCS7, Emerson DeltaV, iFIX or Allen Bradley platforms. Knowledge of any eBR or MES systems is a big plus.
- Very good knowledge of control systems and process logics, GAMP5, S88/S95 Batch standard and batch processes.
- Ability to manage multiple, diverse projects with structure and coordination with manufacturing, IT, and other departments as needed to ensure their timely completion.
- Able to communicate with others in terms and manner conducive to their understanding of the problems and recommendations with our OT systems.
- Team-oriented person with a generous mind and a great humor.
