Are you a skilled Hydraulic Specialist looking for a new opportunity in the Wind industry?
You will be accountable for the technical solution design and implementation from cradle to grave. From the moment of conception of conceptual design according to the specifications and input loads, all through the detail design phase, you will ensure deliverables on-time for each stage of the project - DFMEA, hydraulic diagram, calculation reports, component purchase specifications, eBOM, manufacturing drawings, validation plan. You will also provide support during commissioning phase of prototypes and first serial units, monitoring, test and verification phase.
Work location: Middle Jutland, Denmark or Pamplona, Spain
Tasks:
Hydraulic diagram, Calculation reports, DFMEA, Component purchase specifications, eBOM, manufacturing drawings review, validation plan
Support to second supply sources qualification
Drive technical reviews with internal and external stakeholders
Design hydraulic components according to the Product Requirements Specification to meet requirements such as functionality, robustness, cost effectiveness, manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance.
Qualifications:
Degree/MSc in Mechanical engineering / hydraulic system design
Hydraulic system design specialist proven experience
Minimum 5 years of experience - Preferred experience in wind domain
Domain knowledge within hydraulic systems (preferable from wind turbine pitch systems); design of hydraulic components: Hydraulic Power Units, Accumulators, Rotating Unions, Proportional valves, Hydraulic cylinders, manifold blocks, hoses and fittings, spherical bearings, linear position transducers.
Experience in developing overall hydraulic solutions - conceptual designs expressed in Hydraulic Diagrams, to meet the wind loads demand
Knowledge of International Hydraulic Standards - ISO 4413 and Directive 2014/68 EU: Pressure equipment
Basic knowledge on PLM / Engineering Change Management process
Strong English skills - both written and oral
Valid EU work permit
Able to start right away
