<p>Our Aviation department in Copenhagen, Denmark is looking for a new Civil Engineer with solid airport knowledge and experience in civil engineering projects in airports, such as runway and taxiway rehabilitation, lengthening etc. so we can continue to develop and maintain our leading position in airport design and development for a sustainable future.</p><p><strong>You will join our Aviation Department</strong></p><p>As our new Civil Engineer, you will be part of a strong team of approximately 20 engineers and economists. We work with many exciting airport projects in most parts of the world – currently as far as Greenland, Australia, and the Caribbean. Your duties and responsibilities will be developing the designs for various airport projects, including runways, taxiways, aircraft stands, civil works projects and AGL projects. You will act in a role that oftentimes will require you to coordinate inputs from other design disciplines. Furthermore, you will be contributing to the preparation of proposals for new design projects.<br>

In cooperation with competent and committed colleagues, we expect you to take part in the responsibility for developing our airport design team. You work out of our Copenhagen office, where you participate in the projects independently and where you may also be the designated Project Manager for some of our projects. These projects are located in many different parts of the world and travel can be expected. With your experience and expertise, you will contribute to the development and implementation of new tools and work methods so that we can maintain our leading position, both in the market and professionally.<br>

For this role, we believe your starting point is:</p><ul><li>Minimum five years of experience from the aviation industry</li><li>A degree in civil engineering or similar</li><li>Comfortable working in AutoCAD and/or Microstation</li><li>Understanding of infrastructure geometrical requirements and 3D design</li><li>Understanding of and experience working with ICAO/EASA standards</li><li>A background as an airport professional, e.g. as consulting engineer, airport civil engineer, airport asset manager, or the like</li><li>A high level of professionalism and you can quickly form an overview of the specific task at the same time as you can work independently and can make decisions during the project process</li><li>You have experience with infrastructure projects</li><li>You are able and happy to undertake other roles from time to time, e.g. business development, preparation of proposals, internal task force work on specific topics, sales presentations etc.</li><li>You have a passion for developing solutions which are sustainable and create long-lasting value for our clients</li><li>You enjoy having a coordinating role in relation to solving the tasks</li><li>You are able and used to work professionally in the English language.
