Would you like to lead and develop a talented team while helping shape the future energy solutions in Denmark and beyond? If so, this is your opportunity to join [xxxxx] as our new Head of Discipline in Lyngby.

As Head of Discipline within Energy Plants & Infrastructure you will lead a highly skilled team of approximately 20 specialists and project managers working within district heating and energy infrastructure. You will play a key role in developing both people and business. Your focus will be to ensure high technical standards, strong collaboration, efficient resource planning, and an engaging working environment where people thrive. Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will also contribute as a senior specialist, project manager, or discipline lead on key projects supporting the green transition.

Your key responsibilities will include

  • Leading and developing the discipline group, building strong competencies, engagement, and a high-performing team culture.
  • Ensuring strong planning and performance management through effective staffing, resource allocation, employee development, and successful project delivery.
  • Contributing to strategy execution, business development initiatives, and continuous improvement.
  • Acting as senior specialist, project manager, or discipline lead on selected key projects.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for a people-focused leader with strong technical credibility and the ability to create results through others. You thrive in a collaborative environment, communicate clearly, and know how to balance commercial priorities with employee development and wellbeing.

In top of that, you bring:

  • A degree in engineering or similar relevant background.
  • Significant experience from district heating, energy infrastructure, or related sectors.
  • Proven people leadership experience, including team development and performance management.
  • Strong communication skills in both Danish and English
