About the role

We are looking for a Department Manager for our Data Enablement & Analytics team. The area currently consists of two departments, and the final organisational setup will be shaped based on your experience, strengths and the overall team composition.

You will be responsible for a team of between 15–25 employees, primarily engineers and specialists working within manufacturing data and industrial platforms such as AVEVA PI, DataBricks and SynTQ. The department covers a broad spectrum of competencies including data engineering, data science, cloud services, UX, agile delivery and industrial digitalisation supporting pharmaceutical production environments.

You will play a role in shaping how pharmaceutical facilities of the future are designed and operated, including how AI can be applied both in our ways of working and in the digital solutions we deliver to our customers.

Your primary responsibility will be people leadership — ensuring a motivated, collaborative and high-performing department where employees thrive professionally and personally. You will play an active role in shaping our department’s competencies, priorities and future direction together with the broader management team, and you will play an active role in securing the future project pipeline for our team both internally and externally.
The role is based primarily in Virum and/or Kalundborg.

As Department Manager within Data Enablement & Analytics, you will:

• Lead, coach and develop a team between 15–25 employees while fostering an inclusive and collaborative team culture
• Coordinate and prioritise resources across projects in close dialogue with project managers and stakeholders, while supporting both project execution and competence development
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across Denmark and India to ensure alignment, scalability and continued development of our manufacturing data and analytics capabilities. Some travel activities to India should be expected, approximately 1–2 times per year
• Work together with stakeholders, account managers and the management team to identify new opportunities and help shape the future direction of the department

What you bring to the role

• Experience within people management, either through formal leadership responsibilities or informal leadership roles
• Understanding of engineering projects and/or IT project execution in regulated environments, ideally GMP.
• Knowledge of one or more relevant disciplines such as data engineering, data science, cloud services, UX, agile delivery or our technical platforms AVEVA PI, DataBricks, or SynTQ.
