Manager – Production support
Strong People and Lean Manager with experience within environmental monitoring to resume responsibility for Production Support at Ferrosan Medical Devices A/S

Your role
As Manager for Production Support your primary role will be to lead the employees in the department and set direction for the area. You will be an important part of the management team in Manufacturing.
You will manage your area based on respect and humility and a strong focus on continuous improvement. You will be guided by the strategy of the company and our drive to focus on value creation for our customers.
We have a strong focus on Lean Management and work with structured problem solving, Kata and a daily performance board structure that allows us to identify problems early (see), solve problems to root cause (solve) and share solutions in a structured and sustainable way (share). You will play an active role in coaching your employees on Lean behaviour to further drive our Lean culture through on the shop floor interaction and feedback.
You will support your employees through sparring on decision making, ongoing prioritization and removal of roadblocks. You will ensure that the right competences are available and utilized efficiently across daily operations as well as local and company projects. You will ensure competence development of your employees and if needed recruitment of missing competences.
Collaboration internally in Manufacturing and with peers across the organization is an essential part of your job. You will on an ongoing basis interact with other managers (peers), project managers and employees in other parts of the organization.
Manufacturing
The Production Support team is organized within Manufacturing in Operations.
The Manufacturing area consists of two production units and 4 different support teams: Production support, a separate Process Support team for each production unit and Technical Support & Utility & Facility. As Manager of Production Support, you will refer to the Director of Manufacturing and be part of the Manufacturing management team.
Production Support consists of 13 employees covering different support areas across the production facilities. The team is responsible for environmental monitoring, batch review, setting direction for compliance, and SAP master data.
About you
You have a relevant academic degree e.g., within engineering. You have worked within the medical device and/or pharma industry and have a solid understanding of GMP and ISO 13485. Ideally, you have solid experience with environmental monitoring either as a specialist or from a previous management role.
You have strong people management skills, and a strong focus on ensuring an ongoing dialogue with your employees to drive performance and development of the individual and the organization.
You are focused on creating results and it is natural for you to think and live continuous improvement through a lean mindset. You thrive in a busy and changing environment and have a strong ability to establish a common overview and direction for your area.
You have a strong focus on balancing short- and long-term plans and targets and on ensuring effective stakeholder cooperation via effective collaboration. You communicate effectively at all levels and in both Danish and English.
