Join us as a Medical Writing Specialist and play a key role in producing high‑quality clinical documentation, influencing strategic decisions, and driving improved ways of working across therapeutic areas.Your new roleIn this specialist position you will contribute both deep scientific expertise and strategic thinking to our Clinical Reporting organisation. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality clinical documents while also acting as a key driver for alignment, collaboration, and process improvements across development projects.You will:
deliver a broad range of regulatory medical writing tasks to a consistently high standard.act as Clinical Reporting Project Lead or Medical Writing Lead on assigned projects, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.represent Medical Writing in cross‑functional discussions and project groups.share better practices, mentor colleagues, and contribute to capability building.lead process optimisation initiatives and help develop innovative solutions that support our strategic ambitions.This role is office‑based in Søborg, Denmark, and you will collaborate closely with global colleagues across functions and therapeutic areas.Your new departmentYou will join Clinical Reporting, the medical writing function at [xxxxx], consisting of approximately 160 medical writers across the globe. We are part of Development which oversees clinical drug development and submissions to authorities worldwide - from early‑stage research to market authorisation.Our department combines strong scientific expertise with a collaborative mindset. We focus on transforming complex clinical data into clear, concise, and impactful communication. We value continuous learning, a supportive culture, and a drive for simplicity in our ways of working.Your skills and qualificationsTo succeed in this role, you have:a Master’s degree within natural sciences (e.g., M.Sc., M.Sc. Pharm., or equivalent), ideally supplemented with a PhD, and at least 5 years of relevant medical writing experience in the pharmaceutical industry.an expert understanding of clinical development, regulatory requirements, and clinical documentation.full proficiency in written and spoken English.On a personal level you work independently with complex tasks and bring a strong analytical mindset. You handle fluctuating workloads, navigate uncertainty confidently, and communicate clearly by transforming complex data into understandable content. You naturally build relationships, collaborate across cultures, and act as an informal leader and mentor.
