This includes drug delivery devices, such as pen-injectors, devices with connectivity features, injection needles, and new innovative devices. The responsibility of the department covers the entire device lifecycle from early research to post-approval life-cycle management.We work in a highly cross-organizational fashion, typically at the interface between drug and device development. Our interactions involve a multitude of internal stakeholders with diverse backgrounds including device R&D, Clinical Reporting, Risk managers, System engineers, Commercial, Clinical Operations, Marketing and Regulatory Affairs. Our key external stakeholders are the medical and scientific community, medical experts, and regulatory authorities. We are two medical specialist teams working with devices and the teams work very much across as one function.
