As the Nordic People Development & Learning Director based in Copenhagen, you will be a key business partner to our Nordic leadership, shaping the future of our organization. Reporting to the Nordic Human Resources Director, you will lead our learning strategy across the four Nordic countries, ensuring our teams have the capabilities to stay ahead. Your mission is to foster our unique culture and drive competitive advantage by developing our greatest asset: our people.
In this role, you will:
Define and Drive the Learning Vision: You will define, implement, and evaluate the Nordic learning vision and policy, anticipating future capabilities and translating them into a holistic development strategy. Create and Implement Learning Solutions: You will design and roll out high-quality, innovative learning solutions for all employees, including key players and executives, ensuring alignment with both business needs and our global learning agenda. Lead Strategic Partnerships: You will manage partnerships with the best external providers, consultants, and experts, adapting their programs to the unique L'Oréal context and culture. Champion Change and Engagement: You will guide and accompany management to implement change, professionalize the learning function, and ensure learning remains a top priority on the business agenda. Ensure Operational Excellence: You will steer the learning organization using data and metrics, manage the budget and resources for maximum efficiency, and monitor the roll-out of our worldwide learning offer. We are looking for a strategic and creative leader ready to drive our learning agenda forward. You are a great match for this role if you have:
A master’s degree in a relevant field, combined with experience in people development or a strong background in business/marketing. A talent for business partnering , shown by your enjoyment of working closely with the business and your understanding of how learning adds value. Proven strategic vision , with the ability to think strategically and translate analytics into concrete actions while maintaining a creative approach. Strong drive and coordination skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment and demonstrating excellent change management capabilities. A commitment to people development and innovation , with the ability to design and implement modern, efficient, and engaging learning solutions. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of a Nordic language is seen as a strong advantage. We are looking for our Nordic People Development & Learning Director to start as soon as we have found the right candidate. The position is permanent. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
