As our new senior communications specialist, you will be a central part in shaping the communications flow in a fast-paced, global energy trading company. With a sharp pen and flair for creative storytelling, you will solve big and small tasks from the entire corporate communications palette and work together with highly specialised colleagues across the organisation.Your key responsibilities include:being one of the main architects behind the internal communications flow for 600+ colleagues across five continents, including planning and hosting regular town hall meetings and writing internal news creating compelling storytelling through speechwriting, leadership presentations and storyboarding for digital formats like video and podcast taking the lead on high-impact communications projects, like organisational changes and internal campaigns helping leaders across the organisation with communications advisory, potentially in a partner role supporting with external positioning and reputation management being one of the main architects behind the internal communications flow for 600+ colleagues across five continents, including planning and hosting regular town hall meetings and writing internal newscreating compelling storytelling through speechwriting, leadership presentations and storyboarding for digital formats like video and podcasttaking the lead on high-impact communications projects, like organisational changes and internal campaignshelping leaders across the organisation with communications advisory, potentially in a partner rolesupporting with external positioning and reputation managementStrategy & Communications is a key staff function at (DC), reporting directly to the CEO. The team plays a dual role, covering both corporate strategy and communications. On the strategy side, we handle the development and execution of DC’s company strategy, including commercial advisory, management support and reporting to the Board of Directors. On the communications side, we are responsible for all internal and external communications, including leadership communications, media relations, annual reports, change communications, town hall meetings and much more. The duality of the team is also reflected in the team members. Some of us have a background in business, some in corporate communications, one is an economist, and we even have an architect in the team (long story), but we all share an uncompromising drive to take DC’s brand and business to new heights.If you too are passionate about your craft, and you like to nerd out and share fun facts from your personal area of expertise – be it pop culture, Premier League, chess, Norwegian death metal or whatever you’re into – you will feel right at home in the Strategy & Communications team.As you will be working with a wide variety of stakeholders across different projects and organisational levels, we’re looking for an outgoing communications professional who’s not afraid of going out into the field and talking to people.
