Job-Link is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer or an experienced Mechanical engineer for possibly long-term project assignments.
The position is offered as a consultancy role, where you will be assigned to complex engineering projects within pharmaceutical production facilities and large-scale process plants.
This role is particularly well suited for candidates with a background from medico, Oil & Gas or similar heavy process industries, who are interested in applying their mechanical expertise in a regulated and technically advanced environment.
About the assignment:
As a consultant through Job-Link, you will support ongoing engineering and construction projects and work closely with client engineering teams, suppliers and contractors. The focus is on execution, technical quality and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Depending on your experience, your tasks may include:
• Mechanical design and specification of equipment, piping systems and installations
• Engineering support to process and utility systems
• Design and specification of tanks, pressure vessels and mechanical components
• Preparation and review of drawings, calculations and technical documentation
• Technical evaluation of suppliers and participation in procurement activities
• On-site support during installation, testing and commissioning
• Participation in FAT/SAT and mechanical completion activities
• Coordination with contractors, suppliers and internal project stakeholders
Your Technical Profile:
We are looking for a hands-on mechanical professional with a solid engineering foundation. Ideally, you bring:
• A background as Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Technician, machinist or similar
• Minimum 5 years of experience from Oil & Gas, pharma, process or energy-related industries
• Experience working in project-based environments with defined deliverables
• Familiarity with engineering standards, specifications and documentation requirements
• Practical understanding of construction activities and site work
• Ability to communicate professionally in English
Experience from Oil & Gas projects is highly valued, as the competencies transfer well to pharmaceutical
and life science facilities.
