Passenger Service Agent – Keflavík International Airport

We are currently looking for Nordjobbers to work in passenger service at Keflavík International Airport in Iceland. This is a summer position in a lively and demanding work environment, with the possibility of permanent employment afterward.

The company offers 50% and 35% work positions from June until the end of August (possibly longer). A preparatory course starts on May 22 and attendance is mandatory. Work is on a 2-2-3 shift schedule.

There are two positions. The 50% position is with 6-hour shifts, mostly in the mornings but sometimes in the afternoons/evenings. The 35% position has shifts in the afternoon and evenings from 16:00 - 20:00 and also 22:00-02:00

The company also has several positions available at 50% from May 1 to September 30 (the preparatory course then starts on April 24).

Work tasks

• Passenger check-in and boarding
  
  
• Service desk duties
  
  
• Assisting passengers with damaged and/or lost luggage
  
  
• Cooperation with flight crews and other airport departments
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
  
  
• Clean criminal record
  
  
• Fluent English
  
  
• Valid driver’s license required
  
  
• Previous customer service experience required
  
  
• Good computer skills
  
  
• Service-oriented, outgoing, and communicative
  
  
• Flexible, reliable, and disciplined
  
  
• All new employees receive training.
  
  

Working hours
