Are you ready for physically demanding work in a busy airport environment?

We are currently looking for Nordjobbers for Ramp Handling Agents at Keflavík International Airport. The work is physically demanding and includes loading and unloading luggage and cargo, as well as driving and operating ramp machinery.

It is essential that you have a valid driver’s license and strong English communication skills.

We are looking for employees for 50% postions from the beginning of June to the end of August. There will be a training course 1-2 weeks prior to the jobstart, so people need to be in Iceland around that time. The shift schedule is 2-2-3 days, and shifts are usually 6 hours in the morning and occasionally in the afternoon/evening.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
  
  
• Clean criminal record
  
  
• Fluent English
  
  
• Valid driver’s license required
  
  
• Experience in similar work is an advantage but not mandatory
  
  
• Service-oriented, flexible, and reliable
  
  
• Physically robust and ready for demanding work
  
  

Salary

• Salary according to applicable collective agreement (VSFK)
  
  
• Shift allowances paid according to agreement
  
  

Working hours

• 50% position.
  
  
• 2-2-3 workshifts, 6 hour shifts, usually in the morning.

Employment period

• Beginning og June to end of August.
  
  
• Training course in the end of May, before starting working in June.
