Apply now for a life-changing career!The positionThe position is pivotal in professionalizing and enhancing our focus on transparent, efficient, and compliant indirect tax reporting at [xxxxx]. As our business expands, the complexity of operations grows, and collaboration with colleagues will involve providing guidance on indirect taxes to various business areas within Denmark and globally.Some of your responsibilities will be to:
  • Enhance and optimize processes and controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency in indirect tax reporting.
  • Act as a trusted internal advisor for the business.
  • Engage in the success of our tax technology strategy for indirect taxes, contributing to for instance AI tax determination.
  • Support implementation of e-invoicing, SAF-T etc. requirements.
    • Qualifications To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
  • Master’s degree and solid experience from a similar position.
  • Proven experience with VAT advisory preferably within compliance.
  • Extensive knowledge on legal VAT requirements, especially within EU.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken is mandatory, while Danish will be an advantage.
    • As a person, you possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills, analytical skills and well-founded documentation practices, including strong data handling and excel competencies.You have a high level of drive and a strong sense of responsibility. You are pro-active, work in a structured way, and ensure compliance, timely delivery, and high quality. You can handle complexity and know how to make things simple and understandable to people at all levels in the organisation.About the DepartmentIn [xxxxx]’s Corporate Tax department, we are 25 dedicated employees working in teams within transfer pricing, compliance, M&A tax, and indirect taxes. You will be part of the Indirect Tax Team which advise on VAT, customs duties, energy taxes and excise duties.
