Flight Operations Officer for SAS Flight Dispatch (CPHOW)



As one of our highly valued colleagues is retiring, we are now looking for a new Flight Operations Officer to join SAS Flight Dispatch.

SAS Flight Dispatch is part of the SAS Operations Control Center, and as a Flight Operations Officer you will become part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities



  • Flight Planning: Preparation of flight plans and supporting documentation for all SAS intercontinental flights, as well as analysis and performance calculations for weight- and range-critical short-haul routes.
  • Flow Management
  • Flight Monitoring
  • Operational support to flight crews
  • Operational support to Operational Management


Qualifications



  • Valid Scandinavian FOO (K) license or equivalent.
  • Valid ATPL or ATPL Theory.
    • (If you hold ATPL Theory only, you must pass a Flight Operations Officer qualification test with the Danish Transport Authority before a permanent contract can be offered.)

  • Relevant experience from the aviation industry.

  • Position: The position is 90%, and shift based rotating in a 3-shift schedule. SAS Flight Dispatch is staffed 24/7, 365 days a year.
    The position is covered by LH (Lederne Luftfart).
