The role owns the end-to-end operating model – from product development, compliance, sustainability, and sourcing to global logistics, systems, and operations – ensuring operational excellence, margin discipline, and working-capital efficiency to support continued international growth.
Both strategic and hands-on, the COO shapes the long-term operating platform while driving execution, prioritization, and simplification across teams.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
End-to-End Operations & Supply Chain
- Own and optimize the full operational value chain (sourcing, production, logistics, warehousing, delivery, after-sales)
- Drive efficiency, simplification, cost control, and service reliability
- Lead global sourcing (primarily Asia), balancing cost, quality, compliance, and risk
Product, Planning & Delivery
- Ensure commercially viable product execution in close collaboration with Design and Product
- Lead integrated planning (S&OP), forecasting accuracy, and delivery performance
Systems, Governance & Execution
- Translate strategy into clear priorities, KPIs, and execution roadmaps
- Govern and evolve the operating model and systems landscape to enable scalable growth
- Drive cross-functional alignment, simplification, and disciplined implementation
Financial, Compliance & Risk
- Ensure margin discipline, working-capital efficiency, and inventory control
- Oversee compliance, ESG, product safety, and operational risk management
Leadership & Organization
- Build and lead a high-performing Operations organization
- Strengthen performance management, accountability, and succession depth
- Act as execution partner to the CEO and active member of the ELT
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EXPERTISE
- 15–20+ years in senior operations leadership, ideally within textile, footwear, or adjacent consumer categories
- Proven track record scaling mid-sized companies internationally
- Strong end-to-end supply chain leadership (global sourcing, 3PL, warehousing, APAC exposure)
- Solid commercial and financial acumen (P&L, OPEX/CAPEX, working capital)
- Hands-on transformation and change leadership experience
- Data-driven performance management and strong systems mindset

- Able to move seamlessly from strategy to hands-on execution

- A capable, empowered second line of leadership
REPORTING & RELATIONSHIPS
- Reports directly to the CEO and acts as the CEO’s execution partner
- Part of ELT (Executive Leadership Team)
- Works closely with Sales, Finance, HR, and Strategy
OTHER
- Approx. 50-80 travel days per year expected (supplier &, warehouse visits, potential longer stay for APAC warehouse set up)
