In this role, you will play a crucial part in navigating the complex tax landscape, ensuring Saxo's compliance with CRS and FATCA regulations. You will drive activities across jurisdictions to ensure Saxo's compliance with relevant legislation, market practices, and internal rules.

Responsibilities:As our new Senior Tax Reporting Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and compliant CRS and FATCA reporting. You will oversee the end‑to‑end reporting process, including due diligence activities and the preparation of reports. In addition, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining clear reporting requirements, ensuring that all reportable amounts and personally identifiable information (PII) data fields are correctly specified and delivered in the required formats.
Other responsibilities include:
- Performing due diligence according to the defined process, which includes generating, testing, and validating data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Leading audits related to reporting queries, ensuring all issues are thoroughly investigated and resolved.
- Maintaining a comprehensive log of reporting errors and develop mitigation plans to address and resolve these issues promptly or post reporting.
- Implementing reporting controls and data scrubbing processes. Clearly communicate any errors within a structured framework to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Continuously monitor reporting requirements and changes to XML schema to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Delivering the CRS & FATCA reports globally to meet standards of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.

Further:
- Master’s degree in commercial law, accounting, finance, law, or a related field.
- Experience in CRS and FATCA reporting is a plus.
- Experience working with large and complex data sets - being comfortable with data analysis and having a data-savvy mindset is a significant advantage.
- Proficient in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and other data analysis tools
- Communicate clearly and confidently in English, both verbally and in writing.
