What You Will Do as IT Infrastructure Specialist With reference to SBS CFO and a dotted line to the Transformation Global Central Function – IT area in Italy, you will collaborate with local and international colleagues as well as external vendors, to take on the responsibility of the following interesting areas:
Infrastructure & Operations - Maintain and optimize on-premises systems, including servers, network equipment, data center hardware, and workplace devices.
- Execute upgrades, patch management, backups, capacity checks, and compliance with operational standards.
- Perform hands-on IT tasks, including cabling, rack & stack, Wi-Fi checks, and infrastructure inspections.
End User Support - Provide technical assistance to employees, resolving hardware, software, and configuration issues.
- Support device deployment, onboarding, and workplace technology management, including printers, mobile devices, and IoT components.
Cybersecurity & Compliance - Enforce corporate cybersecurity policies, perform endpoint protection, MFA enforcement, and access governance.
- Contribute to audits, remediation, and adherence to IT security standards.
Cloud & Hybrid Services - Enable and manage access to cloud platforms and hybrid IT environments.
- Collaborate on cloud integrations, governance, and operational best practices.
Identity & Access Management - Manage user provisioning, access lifecycles, and routine access reviews.
- Ensure secure and compliant application of access control policies.
Incident, Problem & Change Management - Troubleshoot and resolve incidents with structured analysis and ITIL-aligned practices.
- Participate in change management, service continuity, and performance monitoring.
Projects & Vendor Coordination - Contribute to IT projects and upgrades, collaborating with vendors and central teams.
- Support testing, validation, documentation, and knowledge transfer during implementations.
Business Alignment & Communication - Bridge local IT operations with corporate IT strategy.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, communicate priorities, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For - Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure, networks, servers, and end-user devices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting abilities.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, cybersecurity practices, and cloud services.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with local teams and global IT.
- A proactive mindset with attention to detail, operational excellence, and service focus.
