Help build a brand-new team
You will join our Sales & Operations Planning team, a subset of Supply Chain, which is some 70 people strong. S&OP is a new team, operating out of our Aarhus headquarters, and you will take an active role in shaping how the team and the S&OP process grows.
We are working to improve our cross-organizational cooperation in Supply Chain, so S&OP will interface with a wide range of stakeholders both across Supply Chain, and across BEUMER more broadly.
A key role in the Global Supply Chain
Your main goal is to support in optimizing the whole of Supply Chain. Through close collaboration with the Global Forecast Manager and the internal project managers in S&OP, you will play an active part in forecasting and planning capacity, to elevate our entire supply chain operations.
In your role, you can expect to:
- Support in forecasting for Strategic Procurement, evaluating global allocation scenarios and capacity limitations
- Participate in developing standards and templates for future forecasting- and analysis operations, evaluating and updating these continually
- Support the analysis of our forecast and demand accuracy
- Participate in forecast review meetings with stakeholders across BEUMER
- Update plans and handle the follow-up on actions and countermeasures agreed
- Act as single point of contact for smaller projects
Grow with the team and the new process of S&OP
As this is a new team, you will have a high degree of freedom in how you approach your task. The outer edges of your role are defined, but the rest you will form along the way together with the Global Forecast Manager. And while the team is new, there is a lot of experience and competence already. Across Supply Chain, there is a high level of seniority, and everyone is ready to confer their wisdom whenever needed.

What you bring to the team
The clue is in the title – you have a knack for structuring analyses and can cut right to the heart of any forecast. Whether you have prior experience with this type of work is not essential. If you do, great, if you do not, you can learn. To excel in this task, you should:
- Have a relevant educational background such as an MSc Supply Chain Management, a Cand. Merc. or something similar
- Be proficient in using MS Excel, preferable if you are also familiar with MS PowerBI and SAP ERP (if you are not, we can of course teach you)
- Be a strong communicator, who can coordinate with and gather input from stakeholders with widely varying backgrounds and fields of responsibility
- Be fluent in Danish and English, both in writing and speech.
