Then you may be the new Supply Chain Planner we are looking for to join our Global Contract Manufacturing Drug Product (DP) Supply Chain team! The position As Supply Chain Planner, you will use your holistic supply chain perspective to help us improve our supply chain while ensuring stable and reliable planning, as well as building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Delivering accurate and timely forecasts to our Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) Order handling and monitoring to ensure product availability at different markets according to demand Determining safety stock levels and monitoring the inventory of critical production materials both at our CMOs and internal warehouses Managing invoice flow (reviewing and approving invoices) Working with our Quality related processes Performing analyses to identify and quantify potential supply constraints, making clear prioritisations and coordinating actions needed to avoid/reduce the impact Qualifications To be considered for this position, we imagine you: Hold at least a bachelor’s degree within engineering, supply chain management or any other relevant field, Have a previous experience in supply chain demand planning) and understanding of the holistic overview (typically covering several parts of the organization) Are familiar with supply chain management ERP system (ideally SAP ECC/APO) and a skilled user of Microsoft Excel Possess good communication and coordination skills, a quality mindset and experience with deviations handling Are fluent in English, both written and spoken It would be considered as a plus if you have a previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry within the Assembly and Packaging area. As a person, you are known to be highly engaged, pro-active, not afraid to take the lead and have a positive mindset. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment, with many tasks to coordinate and execute on, with changing priorities and strict deadlines. Last but not least, you are good at building relationships across cultures and know how to get commitment from both internal and external stakeholders. About the department You will be a part of our international Supply Chain department in the Global Contract Manufacturing - Drug Product (GCM DP) area, where we have an informal and direct tone, and where we respect each other’s differences and encourage each other’s professional development. GCM DP is part of Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply Organization and responsible for all Novo Nordisk contract and license manufacturing of semi-finished and finished drug products to global markets. The primary role of GCM Supply Chain is to ensure delivery of products to our respective customers in the global supply chain. We are responsible for all logistics and supply chain tasks towards our CMOs and sourcing of products into Novo Nordisk according to the demand from our production sites and customers world-wide. You will join Finished Product planning, a team of highly motivated and talented colleagues in GCM DP Supply Chain, located in Søborg. The team consists of 10 Project Managers, 11 Supply Chain Planners, 1 Supply Chain Specialist and 1 Business Process Manager. We are responsible for purchasing and planning of products world-wide from our CMO outsourced production partners, and for setting up supply chains for our new CMOs.
