We are looking for a Head of Projects and Programs for Industrial infrastructure to be responsible for leading the deployment function within the IOT and Automation Platform group.
Reporting to the Engineering Director of the Industrial Infrastructure space and managing a team of Program and Project Managers, you will deploy products and solutions to the Vessel Fleet, Terminals and Warehouses that have been developed by our product groups.
As Lead Project Manager you will be directly exposed to many of the Platforms strategic projects which are to be delivered on the agreed scope, time and budget. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with various functions in the organisation and local project teams
You will work together with HQ functions and local project teams to ensure that our standards are consistently implemented and co-create improvement roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities –
The Lead Project Manager will have the responsibility for the following:
- Ownership of the end to end deployment capabilities.
- Leadership of a team of Program and Project Managers not only related to project deliverables but also the people management function.
- Take full Leadership of the deployment programs / projects which are part of the strategic objectives of the company: focus on the process and activity of planning, organising, motivating, and controlling project controls, resource and procedures to achieve specific goals supporting the business strategy.
- Co-create improvement roadmaps together with multiple stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Engineering Leads by proactively using our standards, processes and ways of working in order to drive the right conversations and decision making, in line with our governance model.
- Engage with the required functions and/or subject matter experts to ensure their input is provided on time with the expected quality.
- Refine and drive improvements towards an overall world-class Integration Framework which aims at executing APM Terminals’ projects with clear processes, transparent decisions, strong documentation and effective best practice deployment.
Who we are looking for –
- Substantial Project and Program Management experience across multiple medium-size or large-scale complex IT or technology projects.
- Financial management of projects and programs
- Experience in improving, embedding project and program management standards and tools.
- Excellent communicator, able to influence without hierarchical power.
- Ability to coach and advise at different levels in the organization to effectively incorporate and improve project management/project controls standards.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication, presentation and facilitation skills. Other languages are a plus.
- Able to work and adapt to changes and be comfortable with ambuiguity.
- Ability to take initiative and produce results.
- Humble and willing to be open to learn.
