Head of Quality to Pascal – World leading provider of amplifier solutions
Are you an experienced Quality professional with background from the audio-industry, who wants to join a leading provider of pro audio amplifier solutions that has won several growth and innovation awards? Do you want to optimize and extend Quality processes and systems to match a growing business with different production models and various contract manufacturing partners? Then we recommend that you continue reading as this is a role for a Quality professional with people management experience – or a strong ambition to develop into people management.
The role is newly defined because of Pascal’s growing and diversified business model, which leaves room for making a true difference at a strategic and operational level, when it comes to setting the frameworks, defining the standards, and executing on plans and projects. You will oversee and head this development together with 2 dedicated employees. The role reports directly to Pascal’s CEO. Primary workplace will be in Herlev, where Pascal’s HQ is situated, and yearly, 20-30 days of travelling must be expected.
The job
You will head a high-quality and efficient Quality function, where safety standards, quality standards and compliance are implemented and secured. In addition, focus will be on managing and expediting queries about product quality and complaints, and to manage the ISO system and the QMS (Process Manager).
Another key objective is to execute a change in the approach to Quality operations and interaction with the business lines and customers – especially, there will be a task in rethinking the process for finished products (audio systems) as this is new to the organization.
Pascal’s ambition is to continuously modernize and digitalize processes, deliveries, and interaction with stakeholders within and outside the organization. This, together with following responsibilities, will be what constitute your work content:
- Set the direction for Quality in future regarding quality levels, processes, documentation, auditing and follow up.
- Ensure that products are certified according to local standards and that they are EMC tested.
- Ensure compliance with the relevant standards, ISO standards incl. ISO 9001.
- Maintain and further develop quality assurance plans for risk assessments, CCPs/OPRPs, preventive and corrective actions as well as GMP.
- Maintain and improve production quality through audits of contract manufacturing partners, investigation of complaints, and regularly reviewing products and engineering designs, as well as manufacturing and training methods.
- Lead by example, motivate and develop employees.
The profile
We believe that you as Head of Quality are a manager with a cultural awareness, flexibility, and a highly customer-oriented personality. In your work, you demonstrate overview and can balance your efforts between overview, results, and details. You do not only define frameworks, because you also act as role model to others when it comes to standards and execution. While being flexible and open, you by nature also value compliance and standards. Your stakeholders and employees experience you as curious, change-adaptive, and persistent (in a selling way) in implementing new ways of doing things, training, and developing best practices.
You support your winning personality with distinct professional qualifications and industry experience:
- Experience from the (pro) audio industry and from an HQ level or another related industry working with software, acoustics, or hardware / mechanics.
- Experience with EMC tests, ISO 9001, and working with documentation in QMS, and from working with Quality in a production and sales-oriented company.
- Experience from optimizing processes and driving change management.
- People management experience is an advantage, but it can also be candidate with project management experience and who wants to develop.
- Fluency in English and preferably some proficiency in Danish.
