We are looking for a Data Engineer who can advance our in-house data capabilities to further bring value to our customers. We take our customers data very serious! Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for building and maintaining a scalable data architecture (the data fabric design) and data foundation (our aim is to decouple our data). As part of our portfolio you will enable us to explore, build and serve data products that drives an improved and digital customer experience. Specifically, we expect you to:
• Lead a selection of data initiatives in alignment with the digital strategy.
• Contribute to improving (a set of predefined) digital customer journeys through data i.e. digital buying experience (e-commerce).
• Build and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines (data instrumentation).
• Conduct data modeling (as part of the desired target architecture and on solution designs).
• Identify, select and implement internal data tools, frameworks and best practices.
• Enable data to be produced, protected, shared and consumed.
• Database management and from time to time write database code such as scripts, queries including performing data cleansing, data migration and quality assurance.
• Ensuring solid data governance and data management practices
• Contribute to data integration initiatives such as automations and integrations.
We are looking for
You must have a high self-drive and thrive in a dynamic environment with ambitions to deliver outstanding customer impact. You have a minimum of 3 years' experience with data engineering and have worked several years within a technology company or department, maybe as a data analyst, developer, data architect or data scientist. Technically, you preferably have experience with
• Programming in Python, Java, and SQL
• REST API or GraphQL
• Azure Cloud (Synapse)
• Familiarity with .Net Framework, JavaScript, HTML, Hadoop
• DevOps and CI/CD processes (Docker or Kubernetes)
• Power BI or similar visualization tools
• Agile (SCRUM)
As a person, you are structured, analytical and proactive. Your educational field is within Data Science, Computer Science or Engineering.
You will be based in our Svendborg and/or Copenhagen office combined with remote work.
