Senior Engineering Manager - Integration Engineering - Copenhagen, Denmark


As a Senior Engineering manager you will lead a team of engineers tasked with developing high-reliability/high-throughput systems to manage and monitor configuration deployments. We're designing and building the next generation systems to scale for the future and meet evolving business needs.

You will drive the team to research and experiment with new tools and technologies and influence the evolution of our platform. Our team is part of the Integration Engineering group within our Cloud Engineering organization. We help thousands of the domains from the Maersk eco-system to help their websites and secure their transactions over the internet.

Our globally distributed network can solve problems at a scale that few others can.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Delivering an exceptional implementation of our Service Orchestration workflow system.
  • Working with leadership and product management across our business unit to ensure business requirements are met effectively
  • Collaborating with engineers, architects and other technical teams to craft first-class technical implementations
  • Communicating clearly and honestly with stakeholders about progress, roadblocks and timelines
  • Handling day-to-day management tasks such as staff 1:1 meetings, performance reviews and coaching/mentoring
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and platform teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization
  • Aligning stakeholders around the vision for the product.


  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding Who You Are
  • Have relevant experience and a bachelor in computer science, engineering, management information systems, another related field or its equivalent
  • Be experienced with designing, implementing, and deploying distributed or real-time systems or similar technologies
  • Have experience managing a sizeable team of engineers working with Temporal, Activity and workflow technologies.
  • Possess solid experience on understanding cloud technologies, elastic search and related tech stack
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize, and prioritize work
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills and the ability to work effectively across different teams
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment • Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
